In little over 150 pages, Gerald Bray masterfully walks through each aspect of God’s personality. He shows where, in scripture, it comes from, how it applies today, and what to avoid when thinking through the divine nature. Especially helpful is the section which summarizes how God’s characteristics have been treated by the Christian community throughout history. While the jargon may be off-putting to some, those willing to dive headlong into this book will be the richer for it after they’ve finished this remarkable theological work.
